Dönüşlü zamirleri ne zaman kullanırız?
1. Nesne ve özne aynı ise “reflexive pronoun” kullanılır.
He talks to himself. Kendi kendine konuşuyor.
We are enjoying ourselves. Eğleniyoruz.
2. Anlamı vurgulamak için “reflexive pronoun” kullanılır.
I cooked the cake myself. Pastayı kendim pişirdim.
Edgar Alan Poe himself signed the book. KitabıEdgar Alan Poe’nun kendisi imzaladı.
3. Bir şeyin kendi başına, yalnız yapıldığını ifade etmek için “by” edatı ile birlikte “reflexive pronoun” kullanılır.
He went to school by himself. Okula kendisi gitti.
She walked home by herself. Eve kendisi yürüdü.
